Beth Reiber began her freelance travel-writing career pretty much straight out of college, first living in Germany, then writing about the US, and then moving to Japan. Having written Frommer's guides to Japan for more than 30 years and numerous articles, she is an expert on Japan. Her interest, however, is the world. Now living in Lawrence KS, she writes about everywhere she goes.
