Cincinnati and Cleveland get all the glory–or at least the sports fans, though I doubt those who follow Ohio State’s Buckeyes are any less fanatical. But what did surprise me was the Columbus food and drink scene, from ethnic foods (Columbus has the second-largest Somali population, with 60,000 residents) and food trucks to breweries, serious coffeehouses, and cool rooftop bars.
